Update

Okay, okay I know I have not been doing a very good job at updating my blog, but I have been a little busy. Christmas came and went and we celebrated with a nice glazed ham dinner. Daniel was unable to work for a couple of weeks because of the weather. The first snow we got this year actually fell on Christmas eve so it was really nice and pretty.

Daniel got some new tools and I got some sheets, griddle, and a cross stich holder, then we also got ourselves a wii thanks to Mom's generous contribution.

New Years came and went we didn't really do anything special for it because we both had to work the next day in the morning. We did get some movies and watched them and I will recommend Night at the Museum 2, Up, and Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs if you haven't seen them you should.

Sophia and Gus are still getting along really well, they seem to have some understanding of when each other wants to play or be left alone. They still like to steal each others chewies and Gus gets really mad when Sophia comes close when he is really working on his chew. They share their toys and are patient when I get out the treats or food and they like to sleep together. I really think that Sophia was the right kind of dog to get to go along with Gus, they complement each other. Sophia is now a few inches taller than Gus and weighs 22 pounds. She gets to start her puppy class tonight which is something I have been looking forward to, if for no other reason than the socialization that she will be able to get.

We got a new Puppy!

This is Sophia our new puppy that we got on Sunday. She is a Great Pyrenees and will be the large dog that Daniel has been begging me for ever since we got engaged. Now we are really looking for a house that has a yard. So far she is doing well with her training, she whimpers when she is first put in her crate, and the potty training is going as good as can be expected by a 10 week old puppy. Gus was a little unsure at first, but now his is very happy to have another dog to play with, I hope he still feels that way when she gets to her full size.

Gus gets a New Toy

Ok, the other day I bought Gus some new toys, I always like the end of a holiday because all the toys that we get in for the holiday are almost all still there and they go on sale. The toy in the video was actually a new kind of toy and as soon as we got it in I was thinking I should get it just to see how gus would react to it. Since I thought it would be funny I went ahead and taped it. So please enjoy this video I will say that Gus really didn't know what to do with the toy, he was so happy. Gus also got two other toys but i have not given them to him yet.

Halloween Fun

Halloween was fun this year I got to dress up as a pirate and go to work, while I was there I got the sun conure, that has been in the store so long we have started to call him Toby. Then I came home and dressed Gus up in a shark costume it was pretty funny. Daniel and I also had carved some pumpkins, it was a lot of fun and Daniel was having a lot of fun with it because he had never carved a pumpkin for the heck of it before.

Daniel and Mo

A few days ago Daniel had our leopard gecko Mo out and it was just to cute to pass up takeing some pictures of how he was looking at her. Its funny becuase I remember the first time he walked into my apartment and saw the tank Mo was in he could not believe that I had this thing in my house. It didn't take long for him to warm up to her though. As soon as I got her out and let him hold her he was hooked. Who can blame him Mo is a pretty cute gecko and she has a great personality.

Gus

The other day one of my frogs was walking along the most viewable part of glass in their tank, because of this Gus finally realized that there is actually something in the tanks that I have. A few days latter Gus even noticed my leopard gecko, both events were very entertaining.

Gillette

So back in March 2009 Daniel and I took a trip up to Wyoming to visit with Sis and her family and I thought I should share some of the pictures. Just click to see it larger.
