Soccer

Daniel has been playing soccer again this year so far the season has gone really well. I finally got to go to his games on Sunday and Monday both of which they won. On Sunday I got to stand in the rain and watch by the end of it everyone there was soaking wet. Daniel was surprised that I stood out there, but it was a hot day and the rain was fairly warm so it wasn't bad. On Monday it was just really hot and I ended up getting a little sunburn on my face. Daniel's team is doing very well they are now in first place which is awesome considering that last year they ended the season in eighth. I just hope that they can continue the winning.
Monday we also went to Daniel's uncle's house to have a barbecue. I was able to take Gus and Sophia with me and they ran around with their dog and kids, Sophia loved it and Gus just wanted to chill because it was hot outside.

Home

Hey, So I finally got the pictures take of the house but when I tried to put them into a slide show the programs I have don't seem to want to cooperate because it would only put on the first slide. So, instead I put the pictures all together in a collage so that had better be good enough for everybody. Something funny though, when I was putting together the slide show I noticed that Sophia managed to get herself into quite a few pictures.

Other than the house things are going well. At work I am now a Dog Training Instructor and the Companion Animal Department Manager. So far it has been a fun and interesting challenge. Daniel has been able to work a lot lately because the weather has been really good. It only seems to be raining at night which is rather convenient.

Gus and Sophia are still doing very well together, I don't think we could have ended up with a better pair than these two. They play together, they sleep together, they bark at nothing together, it is really quite astonishing.

Sophia is getting BIGGER!

Little miss Sophia is not so little anymore, she is now 4.5 months old and is weighing in at a good 32 pounds. She and Gus are still playing together very well and they both enjoy when I bring them new toys and treats. They have slowed down on their chewing of rawhides though.

Work has been slow for Daniel because of the weather, but luckily I have been getting a lot of hours to somewhat make up for it. We are trying to find a new place to live because Daniel, the dogs and I need a little more space. I would really like a yard for the dogs so I don't have to go outside with them everytime they need to go to the bathroom.

Update

Okay, okay I know I have not been doing a very good job at updating my blog, but I have been a little busy. Christmas came and went and we celebrated with a nice glazed ham dinner. Daniel was unable to work for a couple of weeks because of the weather. The first snow we got this year actually fell on Christmas eve so it was really nice and pretty.

Daniel got some new tools and I got some sheets, griddle, and a cross stich holder, then we also got ourselves a wii thanks to Mom's generous contribution.

New Years came and went we didn't really do anything special for it because we both had to work the next day in the morning. We did get some movies and watched them and I will recommend Night at the Museum 2, Up, and Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs if you haven't seen them you should.

Sophia and Gus are still getting along really well, they seem to have some understanding of when each other wants to play or be left alone. They still like to steal each others chewies and Gus gets really mad when Sophia comes close when he is really working on his chew. They share their toys and are patient when I get out the treats or food and they like to sleep together. I really think that Sophia was the right kind of dog to get to go along with Gus, they complement each other. Sophia is now a few inches taller than Gus and weighs 22 pounds. She gets to start her puppy class tonight which is something I have been looking forward to, if for no other reason than the socialization that she will be able to get.
