Here are the events that have happened in Daniel and My life. We met in May of 2008 and have been having fun ever since then. We met somewhat by accident I was outside my apartment walking my dog Gus and Daniel happened to come home early, to the same apartment complex, and we started to talk. We got engaged in November and married in May of 2009.

Daniel had his Championship game in October after a very long season of soccer playing. They played in two different leagues this summer and I must say that the second league they played in was much nicer and more professional. The fields were clean and well cared for and the referees were not going to stand for any crap if the players wanted to fight or play dirty. Daniel got hurt in the first league because some of the other teams were not so friendly and the referees were to scared to call anything. They took fourth in this league. They managed to win the Championship in the second league. They all played very well I would sometimes take the dogs to the practices and the coach's kids loved to play with Sophia.
Anyway the team won and they got a trophy and some medals and after the game we grilled up some food at our house and again I had to make some tres leche cake, which everyone loved and were surprise that I had made it myself. Daniel was invited to play indoor soccer but he didn't really want to, which I thought was a good call on his part because he seemed to need a break from it. I am sure he will play again in the summer.

I receive many cards and I am sure I got some presents as well, but it was so long ago that I can't remember.

Other than the house things are going well. At work I am now a Dog Training Instructor and the Companion Animal Department Manager. So far it has been a fun and interesting challenge. Daniel has been able to work a lot lately because the weather has been really good. It only seems to be raining at night which is rather convenient.

Okay, okay I know I have not been doing a very good job at updating my blog, but I have been a little busy. Christmas came and went and we celebrated with a nice glazed ham dinner. Daniel was unable to work for a couple of weeks because of the weather. The first snow we got this year actually fell on Christmas eve so it was really nice and pretty.Daniel got some new tools and I got some sheets, griddle, and a cross stich holder, then we also got ourselves a wii thanks to Mom's generous contribution.
New Years came and went we didn't really do anything special for it because we both had to work the next day in the morning. We did get some movies and watched them and I will recommend Night at the Museum 2, Up, and Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs if you haven't seen them you should.Sophia and Gus are still getting along really well, they seem to have some understanding of when each other wants to play or be left alone. They still like to steal each others chewies and Gus gets really mad when Sophia comes close when he is really working on his chew. They share their toys and are patient when I get out the treats or food and they like to sleep together. I really think that Sophia was the right kind of dog to get to go along with Gus, they complement each other. Sophia is now a few inches taller than Gus and weighs 22 pounds. She gets to start her puppy class tonight which is something I have been looking forward to, if for no other reason than the socialization that she will be able to get.
